As we have explained, visualization is one of the most important parts of your daily life. Knowing how to create a scene and being able to properly visualize goals, achievements, and milestones you wish to achieve is a wonderful way to take action on the things that matter most to you. In order to this successfully, however, it takes a deal of practice and preparation
One of the ways you can do this is through the creation of what is referred to as a “scene”. A scene is essentially a visual representation of a particular scenario that is envisioned in your head, with the end goal in mind of being able to capitalize on the accuracy of the depiction, in hopes of improving your perception/interpretation of the situation.
By doing this, you’re able to greatly improve the way you consider current or future events, as well as facilitating a better approach to scenarios.
Setting the Tone
One of the first things you’ll need to do is set the tone of your scene, which should be one of clarity and relaxation. In order to do this, you really need to focus on your imagination and visualize a future event as if it was happening right now. Pretend as if the actions you take in your visualization actually have real-life implications.
Now the clarity aspect is taken care of… but how about relaxation? Simply release all tightness and stiffness you might be holding on to. Feel every muscle in your mind and body, and affirm not that you want to relax… but you are already relaxed.
Breaking Down The “What”
The other half of this process is based on the ability to break down what you’re actually doing. You’re confronting current and future events/situations through a mental exercise. To ensure that you’re able to connect with all aspects of your life, find a breakdown that works for you. This is commonly referred to as the “Wheel of Life”, but how you chose to interpret it is all up to you. Ideally, find different sectors of your daily existence and think of ways to confront each of them. This could be:
- Living Space
It’s your preference, but make sure you have some form of a breakdown in place. That way, you’ll be able to isolate each of these aspects of your life and tackle them one by one.
With that said, we hope you’ve found this guide useful. Remember that this is a wonderful process that will greatly benefit your life if executed properly. If you’d like to learn more about scene creation, please check out our app.
